Fellowship Sermon 2/2/25
In this powerful message, we're challenged to rethink our understanding of Christian fellowship. Using the vivid analogy of a fire, we're shown how our spiritual flames can only truly thrive when we come together. The central scripture, 1 Corinthians 12, reveals how God intentionally created diversity within the body of Christ. Just as a fire needs multiple logs to burn strong, we need each other's unique gifts to fully experience the Holy Spirit's power. This isn't just about potlucks or casual conversations; it's about sharing our lives deeply, supporting each other through joys and sorrows. We're reminded that every gift, no matter how small it may seem, is indispensable to the body of Christ. As we reflect on this, let's consider how we can more intentionally engage in true fellowship, recognizing that our individual flames burn brightest when united with others.
